Senior Superintendent - Mission Critical Construction

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Senior Superintendent in Nashville to lead complex mission critical construction work from initial planning through closeout. The role oversees field teams, project execution, safety, quality, schedule, and delivery results.

Project Details

This position supports mission critical construction projects and may involve managing multiple projects or complex stand-alone assignments.

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractors, suppliers, company staff, site logistics, and overall field workflow.
• Build and maintain construction schedules, coordinate trade meetings, and monitor progress, costs, materials, and equipment.
• Lead safety, quality assurance, documentation, reporting, inspections, and project closeout activities.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, authorities, project managers, and design teams regarding project information and changes.
• Manage multiple superintendents and influence project outcomes through field leadership.
• Identify project risks, support pursuits and buyout activities, and help develop client relationships and future work.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of construction experience, including 8 or more years in field supervision.
• Experience with construction methods, scheduling, project management and accounting software, construction technology, Lean practices, trade scopes, self-perform work, and labor productivity.
• Advanced knowledge of layout, crane flagging, and rigging is expected.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license and ability to lift at least 50 pounds required.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours and potentially travel or relocate to meet project needs.
