Superintendent 3

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 3 in Austin to lead moderately complex construction projects from planning through closeout. The role directs field operations, coordinates project teams, and supports safe, timely, and profitable delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, company staff, site logistics, sequencing, schedules, quality, and safety.
• Lead daily, trade, owner, architect, and project review meetings.
• Coordinate work plans, materials, equipment, documentation, reports, timecards, and closeout activities.
• Monitor project risks, costs, changes, productivity, and deliverables in partnership with project management and field leadership.
• Manage stand-alone projects with multiple field supervisors and contribute to pursuits, client relationships, and future business development.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of construction experience, including 5 years of field supervision.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, project management software, accounting systems, construction technology, Lean practices, layout, and crane flagging and rigging.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and non-traditional hours.
