Superintendent 3

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services is seeking a Superintendent 3 for its Florida Buildings Group in Jacksonville. This field leadership role supports safe, productive, high-quality project delivery while coordinating the project team, trades, and company forces.

Responsibilities

• Implement the company safety program and maintain required records and project documentation.
• Supervise, coach, train, and mentor direct and indirect project team members.
• Coordinate field operations with trades, engineers, estimators, project managers, clients, and consultants.
• Monitor construction plans, schedules, contract requirements, project risks, and three-week lookahead planning.
• Identify potential conflicts, schedule issues, and constructability concerns, and support effective resolutions.
• Lead site meetings and help ensure work meets drawing, specification, quality, productivity, and safety requirements.

Required Experience

• Journeyman certificate or bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Approximately three years of field engineering, field coordination, lead hand, or foreman experience preferred.
• Experience supervising a construction workforce.
• Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, specifications, scheduling software, and safety and environmental requirements.
• Ability to assess critical-path impacts, apply basic engineering principles, resolve conflicts, and exercise professional judgment.
• Progress toward NCSO designation and participation in the Gold Seal program are preferred.
