Superintendent 3 Electrical, Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 3 to lead moderately complex mission-critical construction projects within its Advanced Facilities Group. The role oversees field execution, project teams, safety, quality, schedule, and production from mobilization through closeout.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers large-scale data center, semiconductor, advanced industrial, and manufacturing projects. This position may manage a stand-alone project or a major project phase with multiple field supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractors, suppliers, company staff, field supervisors, and overall site workflow.
• Plan construction sequencing, develop work plans, and manage schedules in coordination with project management.
• Lead safety, quality, daily stand-up, trade, owner, architect, and project review meetings.
• Manage site logistics, materials, equipment, documentation, reports, timecards, cost tracking, and procurement processes.
• Coordinate self-perform work, inspections, pre-punch activities, project changes, and closeout.
• Identify project risks, resolve field issues, support pursuits, and cultivate long-term client relationships.
• Promote an injury-free, diverse, and inclusive workplace.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 8 years of construction experience and 5 years of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, project controls, scheduling, accounting systems, construction technology, Lean practices, trade scopes, self-perform operations, layout, crane flagging, and rigging.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management and accounting software, scheduling software, and applicable construction technology.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and non-traditional hours.
