Superintendent

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent in San Antonio to lead field operations, coordinate project teams and trade partners, and deliver building projects with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and schedule performance.

Responsibilities

• Implement site safety procedures and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and recordkeeping requirements.
• Supervise, coach, train and mentor project personnel while coordinating in-house crews and trade contractors.
• Manage project schedules, critical path activities, resource-loaded three-week lookaheads and project execution planning.
• Coordinate field engineers, estimators, subcontractors, clients and other project stakeholders to resolve conflicts and maintain progress.
• Monitor productivity, costs, quality, contract requirements and project risks.
• Lead site and client meetings and maintain required project documentation.

Required Experience

• Journeyman certificate or related undergraduate or engineering degree.
• NCSO designation required; Gold Seal program enrollment preferred.
• Approximately 10 years of progressive field supervision experience preferred, including successful workforce supervision.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, methods, scheduling, productivity, cost reporting and contract administration.
• Ability to coordinate multiple scopes, interpret schedules and cost reports, mitigate risks, resolve conflicts and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internal operational systems.
