Superintendent

Job Summary

Lead field operations and coordinate project teams to deliver construction work through completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules, quality standards, safety practices, materials, and field reporting.
• Recruit, train, direct, and coordinate field staff and subcontractors.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals; lead subcontractor meetings and communicate with owners and architects.
• Oversee punch lists, testing, turnover, and project closeout.
• Travel as needed and supervise multiple projects across a broad geographic area when required.

Required Experience

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience including four years as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Extensive supervisory field construction experience and knowledge of construction trades, OSHA requirements, scheduling, planning, and cost control.
• Prior foreman or journeyman experience in at least one trade, or project engineer experience.
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification, or obtain it within six months of hire and maintain active status.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary of $115,000-$140,000. Benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) with company matching, ESOP, paid leave, insurance, and additional voluntary benefits.
