Superintendent - Healthcare (HCAi & Behavioral) OC/LA/IE

Job Summary

Lead field construction operations and coordinate teams to deliver healthcare projects in the Orange County, Los Angeles, and Inland Empire areas.

Project Details

The role requires experience with HCAi and behavioral healthcare projects and may involve oversight of multiple sites across a broad geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Manage field teams and subcontractor work, enforce safety practices, and maintain project schedules and quality standards.
• Coordinate materials, tools, project records, meetings, and subcontractor insurance documentation.
• Review plans, specifications, and submittals; manage punch lists, testing, turnover, and closeout.
• Build effective working relationships with owners and architects and provide project reports.

Required Experience

• Healthcare HCAi and behavioral project experience.
• Construction, engineering, or architecture degree, equivalent experience, or four years as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Extensive supervisory field construction experience and knowledge of trade practices, OSHA requirements, scheduling, planning, and cost control.
• STS certification required at hire or within six months, with active certification maintained.
• Prior experience as a foreman, journeyman in at least one trade, or project engineer.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary range of $138,000 to $185,000. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, employee ownership programs, paid leave, disability and life insurance, and additional wellness and voluntary benefits.
