Job Summary

Kiewit Power Constructors is seeking a Superintendent to lead field execution for large-scale power generation and solar EPC projects. This senior field leadership role supervises craft teams and coordinates project delivery from construction through startup.

Project Details

The role supports union power construction projects throughout North America, including solar farms, gas- and coal-fired power facilities, coal retrofits, and other renewable energy work.

Responsibilities

• Direct General Foremen, Foremen, and craft personnel while coordinating field production, assignments, quality, schedule, and cost performance.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities against contract requirements and project controls.
• Represent the project in meetings with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Manage scope, budget, schedule, approvals, procedures, compliance, and change coordination.
• Support workforce training and mentor junior and mid-level engineering personnel.

Required Experience

• At least five years of experience in power construction or a related market; Foremen and General Foremen are encouraged to apply.
• Advanced knowledge of construction disciplines, safety requirements, scheduling, cost control, drawings, specifications, and the NEC.
• Ability to supervise craft performance, use Microsoft Office and project administration software, and interpret construction plans.
• Willingness to relocate or travel, work overtime and weekends as project needs require, and serve at varying project locations.

Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation is $110,760-$165,000. Full-time employees receive medical, dental, vision, wellness, employee assistance, life and disability insurance, retirement matching, and paid time off.
