Trade Foreman, Warehouse Manager

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Trade Foreman 2 to work as a hands-on crew leader for warehouse and advanced-facility construction. The role combines trade work, crew supervision, production tracking, coordination, and jobsite safety leadership, with a potential career path to Superintendent 1.

Project Details

The position supports commercial and industrial projects within JE Dunn’s Advanced Facilities Group, including warehouse, manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor work.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned trade work while directing crew activities and subcontractor teams.
• Set crew sizes, monitor productivity, track labor and production data, and submit timecards.
• Coordinate materials, suppliers, inspections, other trades, equipment, and project resources.
• Lead toolbox talks, job hazard analysis, safety planning, and compliance activities.
• Read plans, specifications, shop drawings, and coordination drawings to execute assigned scopes.
• Support quality control, punch-list completion, Lean practices, cost analysis, and project preplanning.
• Provide field guidance and help develop team members.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; related vocational or technical education preferred.
• At least 3 years of commercial construction experience and 2 years of field supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, self-perform work, labor productivity, layout, crane flagging, and rigging.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lead crews, interpret construction documents, optimize productivity, and apply Lean practices.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in varying weather and physical conditions.
