Assistant Electrical Superintendent

Job Summary

Mortenson is hiring an Assistant Electrical Superintendent to coordinate and supervise electrical crews on solar construction sites, supporting safe, high-quality project execution.

Project Details

The role supports solar projects and their electrical scopes, including medium- and high-voltage work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical work, crews, materials, equipment, and site utilization with the Electrical Superintendent.
• Support project schedules and three-week look-aheads, and ensure teams have the resources they need.
• Supervise work quality and progress across self-perform crews and subcontractors, and provide field leadership, coaching, and training.
• Coordinate contractors and craft workers, lead subcontractor meetings and project buyout, and support budgets and small-scope project management.
• Promote site safety and implement the project safety and quality plans.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, civil or architectural engineering, or construction management, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of construction or supervision experience, including medium- and high-voltage projects.
• Experience with self-perform projects and a current driver’s license.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office, project applications, and relevant web applications.
• Ability to travel up to 100%.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay is $102,900–$154,400, with higher ranges in certain listed office locations. The role is eligible for an incentive plan.
