Assistant Project Manager

Job Summary

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini company, is hiring an Assistant Project Manager for its Houston office. The role supports project planning, administration, safety, quality, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and Superintendent with project planning, scheduling, and administration.
• Review owner contracts, help manage contract buyout, and contribute to project schedules, safety plans, quality programs, and site logistics.
• Track project costs and schedule updates, identify risks, and prepare status reports and executive summaries.
• Coordinate project closeout activities, including punch lists, owner training, operating manuals, and warranties.
• Participate in planning meetings and help maintain client satisfaction, safety, quality, and profitability.

Required Experience

• Four-year degree in construction or engineering, or an equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
• At least five years of experience in construction, design, finance, and management.
• At least two years working for a commercial electrical contractor.
• Proficiency with Primavera, Expedition, CGC CMS, Microsoft Word and Excel, and AIA Contract Documents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with advanced knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost and quality control, engineering drawings, and construction documents.
