Job Summary
Garney is hiring an Assistant Project Manager in Tampa to support the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of construction and infrastructure projects while developing project management expertise.
Responsibilities
- Help maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, forecasts, and billing records.
- Track submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement, project risks, and contract requirements.
- Support field operations, subcontractor coordination, quality verification, and safety and environmental compliance.
- Participate in meetings, record decisions and action items, and communicate with clients, vendors, and project partners.
- Conduct site visits and maintain accurate, organized project documentation.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- One to three years of project coordination, construction, or field experience is preferred.
- Strong organization, time management, communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with project scheduling software and construction documents.
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment and willingness to travel to project sites.
