Assistant Project Manager - Power Delivery

Job Summary

Mortenson is hiring an Assistant Project Manager for its Power Delivery Solutions group to support project delivery, team coordination, safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance.

The role supports power delivery projects.

Responsibilities

• Support project cost control, financial administration, estimating, scheduling, contract management, and subcontract buyout.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, manage scopes, and guide project engineers and field engineers.
• Help maintain safe, timely, and quality project execution; prepare client proposals and project financial documentation.
• Coach team members, coordinate project meetings, and support career development.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of related experience and demonstrated ability to support complex projects.
• Working knowledge of construction law and business practices, plus intermediate Microsoft Office, project, and web application skills.
• Current driver’s license and strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay is $102,000-$137,700, with location-based adjustments for certain offices. The position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
