Assistant Project Manager - Tulsa, OK

Job Summary

Interstates is hiring an Assistant Project Manager based in Tulsa to support project managers and field leaders on electrical construction, engineering, instrumentation, and automation work. The company provides training and development for candidates looking to advance into project management.

Responsibilities

• Support project management and jobsite leadership with project oversight and controls.
• Create and update CPM schedules, coordinate crew planning, and maintain RFIs, submittals, meeting records, and other project communications.
• Review project controls data to help identify issues and solutions, and support estimating, change orders, procurement, and material expediting.
• Attend client meetings, coordinate with trade contractors, and contribute to monthly project reviews.
• Promote the company’s safety practices on a daily basis.

Required Experience

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
• Ability to organize and prioritize project work, adapt project systems, communicate effectively, and speak comfortably with clients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay is $70,000-$80,000. Benefits include 401(k) with company match, health, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, holiday pay, and flexible scheduling. Bonus incentives, merit increases, and per diem/travel pay or FAVR program benefits may apply.
