Assistant Quality Superintendent

Job Summary

Holder Construction is seeking an Assistant Quality Superintendent for a full-time, in-person quality leadership role on a Chicago construction project. The position supports project teams, trade partners, consultants, and owner representatives in delivering work that meets project standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead inspections, mockup reviews, pre-installation meetings, and trade quality coordination.
• Verify installation quality, checklist accuracy, documentation, and compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Manage quality activities for trade partners and support QA/QC Engineers.
• Coordinate submittals, punch lists, completion lists, nonconformance reports, deficiency logs, metrics, and tracking systems.
• Identify plan or specification issues and help resolve quality concerns before and during installation.

Required Experience

• Three to five years of construction management or field experience on projects of comparable scope.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent training and experience.
• Electrical construction experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam, BIM 360, Field, SmartSheet, and QA/QC tracking platforms.
