Construction Senior Project Engineer

Job Summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Construction Senior Project Engineer for a full-time, in-person position supporting project operations in Conesville, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trade work and manage materials from design and fabrication through installation.
• Review and validate monthly trade contractor payment applications.
• Support cost control, change orders, RFIs, and proactive risk identification.
• Take ownership of project execution beyond assigned trade contracts.
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Mentor junior project associates and support Holder’s performance-driven culture.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering, or at least three years of equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Basic familiarity with Bluebeam, SketchUp, Navisworks, BIM 360, or similar construction tools.
• Willingness to relocate as needed is preferred.
