Construction Manager

Job Summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Construction Manager to lead in-person project operations in Conesville, Ohio. This full-time role oversees field execution, project controls, financial performance, safety, quality, and team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Direct construction activities to meet contract, schedule, safety, quality, and budget requirements.
• Coordinate project personnel, trade-responsible engineers, subcontractors, and field operations.
• Manage forecasts, owner billings, invoice approvals, and other project financial controls.
• Partner with field leadership on scheduling, safety planning, and quality execution.
• Establish project and office operations, interpret design documents, and resolve issues proactively.
• Mentor junior team members and model the company’s standards of integrity and performance.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline, or at least three years of relevant construction experience.
• Working knowledge of construction management platforms covering collaboration, document control, RFIs, submittals, scheduling, financials, and field communications.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• General contractor operations experience and willingness to relocate to projects are preferred.
