Assistant Quality Superintendent

Job Summary

Holder Construction is seeking an Assistant Quality Superintendent for a full-time, in-person position supporting its quality team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role helps lead project quality assurance and quality control activities while coordinating with project teams, trade partners, consultants, and owner representatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead inspections, mockup reviews, pre-installation meetings, and quality documentation with trade partners.
• Verify that installations comply with project drawings, specifications, checklists, and QA/QC requirements.
• Review plans, submittals, and installations to identify quality risks, errors, and coordination issues.
• Manage quality tracking tools, punch lists, deficiency logs, nonconformance reports, completion lists, and related project data.
• Provide trade-management leadership and support other QA/QC engineers and the broader quality team.
• Coordinate with the owner, client, architect, subcontractors, consultants, and project staff to resolve quality concerns.

Required Experience

• Three to five years of construction management or field experience on comparable projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Electrical construction experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, BIM 360, Field, and SmartSheet.
• Experience using QA/QC platforms and technology for tracking, metrics, and reporting.
