Assistant Superintendent

Job Summary

Mortenson is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to coordinate field crews and subcontractors within an assigned construction discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee craft labor and subcontractor activity, address labor issues, and coordinate timecards, hiring, training, and performance reviews.
• Coordinate scope execution, equipment, schedules, materials, and work from site setup through closeout.
• Support schedule development, quality control, and field safety audits and meetings.
• Manage daily work planning and production activities for assigned scopes.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction, civil or architectural engineering, or construction management, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of construction management or related experience and a current driver's license.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects from development through closeout and travel up to 100%.
• Electrical apprenticeship or journeyman experience is preferred; electrical circuitry qualification or ability to qualify may be required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project and web applications, construction practices, and effective communication.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $95,700-$129,200, with higher ranges for specified office locations. The role is eligible for an incentive plan.
