Civil Project Manager

Job Summary

Christman Constructors is hiring a Civil Project Manager for its Central or West Michigan region. The role leads project teams and coordinates the planning, commercial, and client-facing work needed to deliver construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and guide project teams through supervision, coaching, and mentoring.
• Coordinate project scope, staffing, schedules, budgets, risks, and communications with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal partners.
• Manage bid packages and bid reviews, subcontract scopes and agreements, trade relationships, and project documentation, including change orders.
• Coordinate estimating, scheduling, value engineering, reporting, safety, and other project planning needs.
• Maintain client relationships and confirm project services meet contractual commitments.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least five years of commercial construction experience in a leadership role with progressive responsibility.
• Training or coursework in construction management, project management, safety, or communication.

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
