Design-Build Construction Project Manager

Job Summary

Perini Management Services is hiring a Design-Build Project Manager in Astoria, Oregon, to guide projects from design through construction and closeout while managing delivery, client coordination, and financial performance.

Project Details

The role supports federal government design-build construction, including projects valued at $25 million or more. Marine construction experience is relevant.

Responsibilities

• Direct project delivery, schedules, budgets, contracts, procurement, and closeout.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, field teams, and clients.
• Review design documents, submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and change orders.
• Track project risks, ensure contract and code compliance, and coach project staff.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
• At least five years of construction or design-build project management experience, including management of multiple projects and projects valued at $25 million or more.
• Federal government project management, design-build delivery, and design-phase management experience.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, project controls, and contract administration.
• Microsoft Office and experience with Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, or similar software.
• PE, EIT, PMP, RA, DBIA, or other relevant professional certification; marine construction experience.
