Job Summary

Frontier-Kemper, a Tutor Perini company, is seeking a Project Manager to lead project delivery at its Horse Canyon, Nevada site. The role oversees operations, finances, contracts, and administration to support safe, on-time, on-budget construction.

Frontier-Kemper specializes in underground mine development and heavy civil construction, including complex shafts, tunnels, and hoisting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction, engineering, scheduling, budgeting, quality, and safety activities.
• Build and guide field and office teams, set project objectives, and coordinate resources.
• Act as the main company contact for clients, owners, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Track project performance and address issues affecting schedule, cost, quality, or operations.
• Manage contracts, billing, forecasts, cost controls, changes, equipment use, and project profitability.
• Lead project and stakeholder meetings and ensure compliance with contracts, specifications, company policies, and regulations.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field is preferred.
• At least 10 years of underground construction experience and 10 years in project finance, construction management, and project execution.
• Experience managing large heavy civil, tunneling, or underground projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Knowledge of underground construction methods, contract administration, project controls, and construction management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and multidisciplinary teams, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
