Project Manager

Job Summary

Manage project controls, subcontractor coordination, compliance, and schedule activities for Tutor Perini O&G Joint Venture’s Manhattan Jail Project, reporting to the Senior Project Manager.

Project Details

The $3.8 billion Manhattan project includes a new 1,040-bed facility with service and recreation areas, staff facilities, below-grade parking, and ground-floor community and commercial space.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractor onboarding, commitments, insurance, owner approvals, and payment processes.
• Oversee progress reporting, timecard quantities, cost coding, time-and-materials tracking, and project quantity records.
• Maintain cost reports, change-request tracking, contract terms, and project schedule responsibilities.
• Prepare project notices and correspondence, assess owner notices and impacts, and support compliance requirements.
• Lead jobsite coordination for project system entries, contact records, and issue resolution.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of building construction experience and 5 years of project management experience managing multiple construction projects.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and deliver work to scope, specifications, and schedule.
• Experience with general-contractor projects valued at $100 million or more is desired.
• Strong organization, leadership, communication, and time-management skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary is $200,000 to $225,000, depending on experience.
