Design Build Project Manager

Job Summary

Lunda Construction, a Tutor Perini company, is hiring a Design Build Project Manager for its Rosemount, Minnesota office. The role oversees project planning and delivery for a heavy civil contractor focused on critical infrastructure.

Project Details

Lunda’s portfolio includes major transportation and civil infrastructure projects, including highway, bridge, and light-rail work.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, budgeting, procurement, proposal development, and work-plan coordination.
• Track schedules, budgets, construction progress, and project risks; communicate issues and delays to relevant parties.
• Coordinate owners, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, and lead regular project status meetings.
• Review constructability, inspect construction sites, and uphold quality, safety, and document-compliance standards.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of relevant project management experience, including 5 or more years on design-build projects.
• Heavy civil construction experience is preferred; a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is also preferred.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications, make sound decisions under pressure, and communicate and collaborate effectively.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship; travel is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected salary range is $130,000-$200,000, depending on experience.
