Job Summary
EPI Power is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to support fast-track electrical construction projects, with a focus on data center work. This position requires working six days per week, Monday through Saturday.
Project Details
EPI Power is a licensed electrical contractor specializing in data centers and other large, complex electrical construction projects. Experience with mission-critical or industrial work is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage contract requirements, construction documents, drawings, RFIs, submittals, project logs, and delivery status.
- Support preconstruction, project planning, buyouts, subcontract scopes, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Review pay applications, owner billings, project status reports, and financial risk assessments within delegated authority.
- Coordinate schedules, project meetings, Lean Last Planner activities, virtual design tools, and project software.
- Oversee inspections, compliance audits, non-conformance tracking, closeout documentation, punch lists, as-builts, and warranties.
- Assist with dispute resolution, value engineering, subcontractor coordination, and team member development.
Required Experience
- At least 3 years of construction project management experience.
- Industry-related college degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge and practical application of Lean principles.
- Strong project management, communication, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Procore, Bluebeam, or P6 experience is a plus; proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook is expected.
