Project Manager - Water/Wastewater

Job Summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams delivering water infrastructure work and support the growth of its water and wastewater business.

Project Details

Manage water-related infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater treatment and linear infrastructure planning and design. Projects are described as multi-million-dollar in scale.

Responsibilities

• Direct project delivery across scope, cost, schedule, quality, safety, contractual commitments, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, startup, and third-party contributors; manage project staffing and team execution.
• Support business development through market strategy, client engagement, proposals, presentations, budgeting, and contracting.
• Oversee engineering managers, track project performance and commercial matters, and engage with clients and project representatives.
• Coach and develop team members and contribute to training, promotion, and team growth.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) license; 15+ years of program or project management and technical experience; water and wastewater treatment and linear infrastructure experience; and business development experience.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable standards is preferred.
