Senior Construction Manager - Water - Arkansas

Job Summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead construction-phase delivery and support its water and wastewater team in Arkansas.

Project Details

The role supports water and wastewater infrastructure, including transmission pipelines, pump stations, wastewater collection systems, treatment facilities, and related work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction administration, including schedule and submittal reviews, RFIs, correspondence, change requests, and payment applications.
• Coordinate with owners, contractors, engineers, utilities, clients, and design teams; lead project and preconstruction meetings.
• Prepare progress reports and project documentation, assist with dispute and claim records, and present findings to clients.
• Manage field and office staffing, delegate work, forecast resource needs, and coordinate subconsultants and costs.
• Support project budgeting, client proposals, and delivery within schedule and budget targets.

Required Experience

• At least 18 years of construction supervisory experience, including 5 years as a construction manager.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or a related field preferred, or relevant field experience.
• OSHA training is preferred.
• Water and wastewater project experience, particularly with pump stations and pipelines, is preferred.
• Experience with Excel, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Procore is preferred.
