Electrical Foreman - Data Center (Non-Union)

Job Summary

EPI Power is seeking an Electrical Foreman to supervise field electrical installation on a fast-track data center project in Des Moines. This non-union role leads crews while coordinating safe, code-compliant, and productive execution.

Project Details

EPI Power delivers electrical construction services for data centers, including planning, layout, installation, wiring, prefabrication, and work performed from drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assign a crew of approximately 10 to 15 journeymen and apprentices.
• Coordinate tools, materials, prefabrication, composite crews, and daily production needs.
• Verify installations against project drawings, specifications, applicable electrical codes, and quality standards.
• Review job hazard analyses, enforce company and owner safety requirements, and correct field hazards.
• Maintain daily work records and progress reports while meeting installation schedules and production targets.
• Understand project scope, drawings, specifications, and schedule, and communicate effectively with field personnel and customers.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, make complex cuts, and work with forming systems.
• Ability to follow safety requirements and work independently.
• A valid Iowa Class A or B license is preferred.
• Ability to perform physical field work including climbing, kneeling, lifting, walking on uneven ground, and repetitive hand movements.
