Electrical General Foreman - Data Center (Non-Union)

Job Summary

EPI Power is seeking an Electrical General Foreman to lead field electrical work on a fast-track data center project in Des Moines. This is a non-union position supervising electrical crews and coordinating daily production.

The role supports high-profile data center construction using advanced electrical systems, equipment, and installation methods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and assign work to electricians, apprentices, helpers, temporary workers, and electrical foremen.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and designs to support compliant electrical installation.
• Maintain jobsite safety, review crew activities, complete hazard analyses, and lead safety communications.
• Monitor quality, productivity, labor units, progress drawings, material needs, and personnel matters.
• Plan crew labor, tools, and materials with a two-week schedule and communicate progress to project leadership.
• Attend safety meetings and coordinate with construction, maintenance, project management, and field supervision teams.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read construction documents, communicate effectively, perform production calculations, and work independently.
• Ability to work safely at heights, on uneven surfaces, and around active construction equipment while using required PPE.
• Ability to work scheduled or unscheduled overtime, including weekends and holidays, as project needs require.
• A valid Iowa Class A or B license is preferred.
