Electrical Project Superintendent

Job Summary

EPI Power, a Weitz Company subsidiary specializing in electrical construction for data centers, is seeking an Electrical Project Superintendent to lead field operations and subcontractor coordination in Cedar Rapids.

Project Details

The role supports fast-track electrical construction, with data center experience strongly preferred. The position follows a Monday through Saturday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontractors and field crews while maintaining jobsite safety.
• Partner with project managers on schedule and budget management.
• Prepare two-week look-ahead schedules and maintain computerized project schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and communicate with owners, designers, and engineers.
• Assist with subcontractor buyout and selection.
• Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, and timely.
• Support team development and maintain positive jobsite relationships.

Required Experience

• At least five years of project superintendent experience.
• Electrical construction experience is required; data center experience is highly desired.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and understand construction methods and materials.
• Strong organization, leadership, mentoring, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn project-specific software.
• Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.
