Electrical Superintendent

Job Summary

PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. is seeking an Electrical Superintendent in Eunice, Louisiana, to lead electrical construction for large-scale solar projects. This role oversees field execution while driving safety, quality, productivity, schedule performance, and stakeholder coordination.

Project Details

The position supports utility-scale solar construction, including high- and medium-voltage equipment and cable, collection-line installation, substation work, and self-perform electrical operations. Travel to projects in Louisiana and other states is required, and successful candidates may move to subsequent projects as assignments conclude.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical field operations, crews, subcontractors, and project personnel while maintaining safety, quality, productivity, and schedule standards.
• Coordinate with project management, engineers, estimators, clients, trades, labor representatives, and other site contractors.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, resource-loaded three-week lookahead schedules, critical-path plans, and overall project schedules.
• Identify constructability concerns, resolve work conflicts, manage project risks, and support budget, forecast, quality, and profitability targets.
• Maintain required project records, correspondence, meeting coordination, and contract documentation.

Required Experience

• Journeyman certificate or undergraduate degree in a related discipline, preferably with 10 years of progressive field supervision experience.
• At least 5 years leading work involving high- and medium-voltage equipment and cable, including collection lines and substations.
• At least 5 years supervising self-perform electrical construction and successfully managing a construction workforce.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, specifications, safety and environmental requirements, scheduling, productivity, labor-cost reporting, contracts, and risk management.
• Ability to coordinate multiple work scopes, lead effective site and client meetings, solve problems, resolve conflicts, and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and internal operational systems.
