Job Summary

Kiewit Power Constructors is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field electrical installation activities for major power construction projects. The role provides hands-on supervision of craft teams while maintaining safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance.

Project Details

The Power Constructors district delivers union direct-hire construction for power generation and solar farm projects throughout North America. Work may require relocation to the active project location.

Responsibilities

• Direct craft workers and evaluate performance across safety, quality, and production activities.
• Plan, schedule, and execute electrical field operations in accordance with contract requirements, electrical codes, and quality procedures.
• Coordinate work with other superintendents and subcontractors to maintain workflow and schedule progress.
• Build manpower-based schedules and support overall project completion targets.
• Address employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling issues while escalating matters when appropriate.
• Enforce project safety, attendance, conduct, and workplace policies.

Required Experience

• At least five years of industrial electrical installation experience, including duct banks, conduit, cable tray, cable pulling, terminations, and electrical equipment.
• Foremen and general foremen are encouraged to apply; prior superintendent experience is not required.
• Ability to supervise and assess craft performance with strong organization, communication, initiative, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel, relocate, work overtime and weekends, and maintain reliable attendance.
