Equipment Foreman - Phoenix

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking an Equipment Foreman in Tempe to coordinate equipment operations supporting jobsites and Blue Hat facilities across the Phoenix area. The role oversees delivery, warehousing, service, inventory, and hoisting-related activities while supporting the company’s safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned equipment operations and coordinate deliveries, pickups, returns, and material distribution.
• Oversee fleet maintenance, equipment repairs, warehouse organization, inventory controls, and cycle counts.
• Maintain accurate records for equipment movement, operating costs, repairs, maintenance, and employee time.
• Administer DOT-related records, driver logs, time-off compliance, and driving-record reviews.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, mechanics, carriers, and internal operations teams.
• Recommend equipment purchases, rotations, inventory levels, and chargeable repairs.
• Identify process improvements, investigate safety incidents, and reinforce safe work practices.

Required Experience

• At least five years of equipment operations experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Ability to operate a forklift or other distribution equipment.
• Knowledge of equipment rental operations, warehouse organization, inventory storage, maintenance, repair, and order fulfillment.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills and working proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in variable outdoor conditions.
