HSE Manager I

Job Summary

Support project teams by coordinating health, safety, and environmental programs as an entry-level Project HSE Manager, generally reporting to another HSE Manager.

Responsibilities

• Inspect project areas and nearby property, and lead site-specific safety orientations.
• Develop and maintain project safety and environmental plans and support implementation of company safety systems.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents, assist with workers' compensation claims, and maintain project safety records.

Required Experience

• At least one year of full-time project safety experience.
• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications; bilingual skills are preferred.
• Strong communication and integrity in safety reporting. Preferred certifications include STSC, CHST, ASP, or CSP.

Physical Requirements

Work requires use of personal protective equipment, frequent movement and interaction on site, and occasional climbing, bending, and handling objects. The role is safety-sensitive.
