Industrial Construction Project Manager

Job Summary

Lunda Construction is hiring an Industrial Construction Project Manager for its Hilbert, Wisconsin office to lead industrial construction projects and support growth in key markets.

Project Details

Projects may involve paper mills, foundries, manufacturing facilities, movable bridge structures, power generation, and other heavy industrial settings. Work can include construction, maintenance, shutdowns, outages, and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships and pursue, estimate, propose, and secure project opportunities.
• Lead projects from initial planning through execution, commissioning, and closeout.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, subcontractors, vendors, and documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, field teams, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor risks, staffing, schedules, and costs, and take corrective action to keep projects on track.
• Promote compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Guide project teams toward strong customer outcomes and profitable execution.

Required Experience

• Degree in construction management, engineering, business, or equivalent field experience.
• At least 3 years of project management experience in industrial construction, maintenance, shutdowns, or capital projects.
• Knowledge of construction methods, mechanical systems, equipment installation, and maintenance.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and project teams.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Background in estimating, business development, and client relationship management.
