Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group is hiring an entry-level M/E Engineer to support mechanical and electrical activities on mission-critical projects including data centers, semiconductor fabs, and industrial facilities.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group focuses on large-scale Data Center, Semiconductor, and Industrial & Manufacturing projects across the country.

Responsibilities

• Participate in company safety and quality programs.
• Support development of budgetary mechanical and electrical estimates using automated estimating tools.
• Assist in reviewing mechanical and electrical options during preconstruction and systems analysis.
• Help develop M/E scopes of work and assist with bid analysis and subcontractor selection.
• Contribute to sequencing and scheduling solutions for various building systems.
• Support constructability reviews by identifying potential quality issues in design documents.
• Assist with the shop drawing and submittal process.
• Support commissioning activities including pre-functional checklists and functional testing.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 0–2 years of construction experience or internship/co-op preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to read plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
