Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Mechanical Pipe Foreman to lead field crews on heavy civil water and utility construction work in Brighton, Colorado.

Project Details

The role supports installation of water mains, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and related ductile, steel, PVC, and HDPE pipe systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field employees and turn project requirements into prioritized crew work plans.
• Drive jobsite safety, monitor production against plans and schedules, and support cost control.
• Inspect equipment, maintain time records, prepare reports, and help keep crews operating efficiently.
• Read plans and specifications, establish line and grade, shoot elevations with a level, and set up pipe lasers.

Required Experience

• Three to five years of construction or mechanical experience.
• Heavy civil construction experience and working knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications and understand pipe installation procedures.
• Experience with ductile, steel, PVC, and HDPE pipe.
• Willingness to work overtime.

Compensation and Benefits
