Job Summary

Primoris T&D is hiring an Overhead Distribution Foreman to lead crews in Lancaster, South Carolina, overseeing safe and reliable field work on electrical distribution systems.

Project Details

The role supports overhead electrical distribution construction, maintenance, and repair.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew activities, daily schedules, equipment, and materials for line work.
• Lead safety briefings, review job hazards, coach crew members, and address unsafe conditions.
• Interpret project documents, operate utility equipment, and perform hands-on line work as needed.
• Check work quality, keep crew and materials records, and coordinate with project managers and clients.
• Respond to outages and emergency call-outs when required.

Required Experience

• At least five years as an overhead distribution journeyman lineman and two years in a foreman or supervisory position.
• High school diploma or equivalent; lineman apprenticeship completion is preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of distribution systems, construction practices, OSHA and NESC safety requirements, and utility equipment.
• Ability to read plans and technical documents, work outdoors in varied conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• OSHA 10- or 30-hour certification and First Aid/CPR are preferred.
• Availability for extended hours, weekends, holidays, and emergency response as needed.
