Lead field crews delivering gas distribution construction work, with responsibility for safe, quality-focused, and efficient project execution.

Project Details

Primoris Distribution Services installs plastic and steel gas lines, using methods such as open trenching, joint trenching, and directional boring.

Responsibilities

• Direct construction crews and coordinate daily work according to plans, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Lead safety briefings and hazard reviews, and respond to jobsite emergencies.
• Read plans and work orders, monitor progress, and manage crew, equipment, and material use.
• Coordinate with project teams and customers, coach crew members, and perform quality inspections.
• Operate construction equipment and complete daily records, timecards, permits, and other required documentation.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED; a related associate degree or trade school certification is preferred.
• Three to five years of gas distribution construction experience, including one to two years in a supervisory or foreman position.
• Knowledge of gas distribution systems, construction methods, and applicable DOT and OSHA standards.
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications and safely operate heavy construction equipment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; CDL Class A or B and OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification are preferred.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to work outdoors, travel, and work extended hours as needed.
