Job Summary

Sundt is hiring a Pipelayer Foreman to lead crews performing pipe installation work in Waddell, Arizona. The role requires at least five years of experience, availability for overtime, and successful completion of a pre-employment drug test.

Project Details

The project includes water, sewer, and storm drain pipe installation and is expected to last approximately two years. Work is scheduled for 40 or more hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate pipe-laying activities, crew assignments, and resources to meet safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Coordinate work with other foremen and crews, develop daily and weekly plans, and contribute to longer-range scheduling.
• Set production goals and track time, quantities, and productivity.
• Participate in safety, quality, production, and planning meetings; maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Coach and mentor crew members and support performance reviews and continuous improvement.

Required Experience

• At least four years of experience in the relevant construction market and in-depth knowledge of the supervised trades; the posting also states a five-year minimum.
• Strong leadership standards for safety, quality, and productivity, with effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions, perform physical tasks, and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Must be available for overtime and pass a pre-employment drug test.
