Pre-Construction Manager I

Preconstruction Manager supporting commercial project planning in Atlanta.

Ryan Companies is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager I to develop estimates, manage project scope, and support budget and preconstruction planning with project teams.

Commercial project scope

Support preconstruction work on commercial projects ranging from $5 million to $100 million or more.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual and detailed estimates, quantity take-offs, cost models, and value analyses.
• Coordinate subcontractor pricing, scope reviews, selections, buyout, and GMP estimate reviews.
• Maintain cost history and manage project scope, schedules, procurement, and budget support.
• Advise clients, developers, project managers, and design and construction teams, and train cost engineers and project management staff.

Required Experience

• Four-year degree in engineering, architecture, or management.
• Four to six years of commercial construction experience.
• Knowledge of construction methods, plan reading, CSI and Uniformat II structures, and design-build, CM at Risk, or best-value processes.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency; experience with OST, Bluebeam, VICO, Navisworks, or Revit is a plus.
