Project Engineer

Job Summary

The Christman Company seeks a Project Engineer to support large-scale commercial construction projects in the greater Oklahoma City region.

Project Details

Work supports large-scale commercial construction projects, with most duties performed at the project site.

Responsibilities

• Organize project records, manage RFIs and submittals, and keep contract drawings current with approved changes.
• Support project closeout, subcontract documentation, inspections, procurement tracking, and punch-list completion.
• Record project and coordination meetings, assist with daily reports, and maintain progress and quality photos.
• Help monitor work quality and document compliance, and support site safety planning and initiatives.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, plus at least one year of construction experience; relevant internships count.
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
• Preferred: one year of construction project management-related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively, organize work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate with project teams and partners.
