Project Engineer

Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Project Engineer in Savannah to support project management activities, coordinate documentation, and help keep construction work organized and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare submittals and requests for information.
• Coordinate projects from initial setup through closeout.
• Support estimating, scheduling, field operations, and crew coordination.
• Track job costs and maintain project records.
• Communicate professionally with owners, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Assist with material purchasing and related project management tasks.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Strong organization, planning, attention to detail, and willingness to travel.
• Ability to work the schedule required to support project delivery.
• Suitable for candidates seeking entry-level project management experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary starts at $80,000.
