Project Engineer

Job Summary

The Beck Group is hiring an entry-level Project Engineer in Dallas to support project administration and construction coordination while developing under experienced project and field leaders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain construction drawings, specifications, submittal and RFI logs, meeting records, and as-built documents.
• Review and expedite shop drawings and submittals, support procurement, and help identify subcontract scope gaps and price change orders.
• Assist with project setup, quality management, punch lists, and closeout documentation.
• Follow company and OSHA safety standards and collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and owners.

Required Experience

• Zero to two years of relevant construction experience and a relevant college degree, or relevant field construction experience with a commitment to obtain a relevant degree.
• Fundamental understanding of project documents.
• Construction or architecture internship experience is preferred. Familiarity with Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, Revit, or comparable tools is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors and move around a job site, including occasionally carrying equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
