Job Summary

EPI Power is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support data center construction projects from planning and procurement through closeout. The position is open to entry-level and experienced candidates and requires a six-day Monday through Saturday workweek.

Project Details

This role supports electrical construction for data center projects, with coordination across engineering, VDC, procurement, prefabrication, and field teams. Travel or relocation may be required as project assignments change.

Responsibilities

  • Review electrical plans, specifications, scope, and BIM or shop drawings.
  • Coordinate submittals, procurement, material tracking, prefabrication, RFIs, and material takeoffs.
  • Maintain engineering records, deliverable schedules, cable and panel schedules, and project documentation.
  • Support project meetings, technical issue resolution, quality checks, installation verification, and as-built closeout.
  • Provide field technical support and assist the Engineering Project Manager and Project Manager.

Required Experience

  • One to two years of Project Engineer experience, related industry coursework or degree, or relevant internship experience.
  • An engineering degree is helpful; experience with LEAN principles and knowledge of NEC code are preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, judgment, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Autodesk tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
  • Ability to learn project platforms including JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software.
