Job Summary

EPI Power is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support data center construction projects from planning and procurement through installation and closeout. The position is available to entry-level and experienced candidates and is based in McLean, Virginia.

Project Details

Support electrical construction work for data center projects, coordinating engineering, VDC, procurement, prefabrication, and field execution.

Responsibilities

  • Review electrical drawings, specifications, BIM models, and shop drawings.
  • Assist with submittals, procurement, material tracking, prefabrication, and engineering logs.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineering, VDC, procurement, and field teams.
  • Track RFIs, MTOs, engineering deliverables, schedules, and project deadlines.
  • Provide technical field support and help verify installation quality and compliance.
  • Support cable schedules, panel schedules, as-built documentation, and project closeout.

Required Experience

  • One to two years of project engineering or related experience, relevant industry coursework, or internship experience.
  • An engineering degree is preferred but not required.
  • LEAN principles experience and NEC knowledge are desirable.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Autodesk tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
  • Ability to learn project systems including JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software.
