Job Summary

EPI Power is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support planning, procurement, coordination, execution, and closeout for data center construction projects. The position is open to entry-level and experienced candidates and requires work Monday through Saturday.

Project Details

Support electrical construction work for data center projects, including drawing review, BIM coordination, prefabrication, material tracking, engineering deliverables, and field installation verification.

Responsibilities

  • Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project scope.
  • Coordinate with VDC, engineering, procurement, and field teams.
  • Assist with submittals, RFIs, MTOs, procurement, and material tracking.
  • Support coordination meetings, prefabrication, quality control, and installation verification.
  • Maintain engineering logs, deliverables, schedules, and project documentation.
  • Provide technical support to field teams and help resolve coordination issues.
  • Support cable schedules, panel schedules, as-built documentation, and project closeout.
  • Assist the Engineering Project Manager and Project Manager throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Experience

  • One to two years of project engineering or related experience, relevant coursework, or internship experience.
  • An engineering degree is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with LEAN principles and knowledge of NEC code are beneficial.
  • Strong initiative, analytical ability, communication, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Autodesk tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
  • Ability to learn project software including JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling systems.
