Job Summary

Project Engineer supporting TIC Power District EPC work for Entergy projects, with hands-on responsibilities spanning field engineering, project controls, craft coordination, safety, quality, and contract administration.

Project Details

The role supports power construction projects in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Team members may relocate regularly based on project availability, development plans, capabilities, and career goals.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and specifications, prepare work packages, perform quantity measurements, and support field layout and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate document control, quality inspections, safety reviews, toolbox meetings, job hazard analyses, and required training.
• Schedule materials and work groups, support subcontractor management, and supervise field operations.
• Prepare takeoffs, engineering calculations, technical documentation, reports, purchase orders, subcontracts, RFIs, cost records, change orders, and project correspondence.
• Assist with estimating through plan reviews, risk identification, historical cost analysis, and material quantity takeoffs.

Required Experience

• At least three years of field experience in electrical, mechanical, or piping construction or industrial projects.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications and recognize discrepancies.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong organization, time management, communication, independence, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Ability to access all areas of construction sites, work in varied climates, travel and relocate as needed, and work overtime or weekends when required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
