Project Engineer II - Civil

Job Summary

Mortenson is hiring a Project Engineer II to support field coordination and help resolve project issues with the construction team.

Responsibilities

• Interpret plans and specifications for subcontractors and craft teams, and coordinate quality testing and inspections.
• Maintain project tracking and inspection records, permits, contract documents, RFIs, and submittals.
• Coordinate submittal schedules, closeout, and updates to as-built documents.
• Support field engineers, coordinate safety and compliance, and monitor project timelines.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, civil or architectural engineering, or construction management.
• At least three years of related construction experience.
• Current driver’s license, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $93,400-$126,100, with higher ranges for specified office locations. The position is eligible for an incentive plan. Benefits include medical, prescription, vision and dental coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, insurance, tuition reimbursement, and adoption assistance.
