Project Engineer (Travel Position - Midland, TX)

Job Summary

The Beck Group is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer for a travel assignment in Midland, Texas. The role supports project administration and documentation under the guidance of senior project and field staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain construction drawings, specifications, submittal and RFI logs, meeting records, and as-built documents.
• Review and follow up on shop drawings and submittals, and use project management software to support project setup.
• Assist with procurement, scope review, change-order pricing, quality management, punch lists, and closeout documentation.
• Follow company and OSHA safety standards and collaborate with project team members, subcontractors, vendors, and owners.

Required Experience

• 0–2 years of relevant construction experience and a relevant college degree, or relevant field construction experience with a commitment to obtain a relevant degree.
• Fundamental understanding of construction project documents.
• An architectural or commercial construction internship is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, Revit, or comparable tools is a plus.
